Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and remanufacture high-voltage EV components, including PTC heaters, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, AC compressors, and electric steering systems (excluding HV batteries and drive units).
- Perform PCBA-level diagnostics and rework, including replacement of SMD and through-hole components, power semiconductors, connectors, and repair of damaged pads and traces.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using structured diagnostic methods and established procedures.
- Execute repairs independently with full responsibility for technical outcomes and quality.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve repair methods, reliability, and throughput.
- Participate in R&D and reverse engineering activities under guidance from senior staff.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for all repair and remanufacturing work.
- Follow strict high-voltage safety and workshop safety standards at all times.
Must Have
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics repair or related technical field.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with automotive power electronics is a strong advantage.
- Component-level replacement
- Strong ability to work independently
- Structured, methodical, and detail-oriented working style.
- Good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Valid Norwegian work permit or EU/EEA citizenship is required.
- Good communication skills and ability to function effectively in a team environment.
