About EV Hub
EV HUB AS is a Norwegian technology company, majority-owned by the Swedish automotive group KGK AB, with customers and partners across the Nordics and Europe. We repair and remanufacture high-voltage components for electric and hybrid vehicles: HV batteries, power electronics and e-drives, for workshops, fleet operators and tier-1 suppliers.
Our new 3,300 m² facility in Hagan, north of Oslo, brings R&D, engineering, testing and remanufacturing together under one roof. Our mission is simple: keep EVs on the road longer, at lower cost and with less waste.
At EV HUB, a part that others would scrap is a problem to solve. We look for people who take pride in their craft, take ownership of their work and want to grow with a company that is entering its next stage.
The role
You repair and remanufacture e-drives (e-motors, reduction gears and e-axles) and electric steering racks: you strip, inspect, rebuild and test them, including cleaning and surface treatment of housings and parts.
What you will do
- Disassemble, clean, measure and inspect components against spec.
- Replace bearings, seals and worn parts, and reassemble to torque and tolerance.
- Run end-of-line tests and document each unit.
- Keep your workstation and tools in top condition.
- Improve methods, tooling and throughput with the other technicians and with EV HUB Lab, our engineering team.
- Follow high-voltage and production safety rules at all times.
What you bring
- 3+ years as car mechanic, industrial mechanic, engine or gearbox rebuilder, or similar (fagbrev a plus).
- Experience with either e-drives or steering systems is enough: you learn the other with us.
- Precision with measuring tools and torque procedures.
- Pride in doing it right the first time.
- A structured, methodical and detail-oriented way of working, and the ability to work independently.
- Good English, written and spoken, and good communication in a team.
- You must be eligible to work in Norway. For the right profile, we support the work permit application.
Nice to have
- EV drivetrain experience.
- Surface treatment experience.
- HV awareness training (HV training provided).
What We Offer
